Doni Shamsuddin
Doni Shamsuddin is the Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific for BNY Investments. Doni is responsible for the company’s strategic objective to grow BNY’s investment management business in Asia Pacific. He is a member of the BNY's Asia Pacific Executive Committee and a Board Director of various BNY companies.
His career at BNY spans over 20 years, with a total of 25 years of international experience in the financial services industry spanning London, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Most recently Doni served as the CEO of Asia Pacific ex Japan for BNY Investments. Prior to this, he was the CEO of Hong Kong & Co-Head of Asia Pacific. Doni joined BNY in January 2003 from Mazars in London where he was a Senior Auditor. Doni is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and a CFA charter holder. He holds a B.A. in Accounting, Financial Management and Economics from The University of Sheffield.
