Dr Zoë Fortune
Dr Zoë Fortune led the start-up and development of the City Mental Health Alliance Hong Kong (CMHA HK) and was the first CEO from 2017-2021. She is currently Assistant Professor in Psychology at Heriot Watt University in Dubai. She maintain roles as a Partner at Minds Matter DXB, as a Cluster Lead for the University of Hong Kong Research & Impact Initiative on Communication in Healthcare, as a member of the CMHA HK Advisory Panel and a Trustee for UK Charity MenWalkTalk.
Zoë has led large scale research programmes across multiple countries for work in healthcare, modern slavery and international development. Alongside teaching, she aims to support improvements in mental health services, public health and healthcare communication through research, training and direct implementation. Her research interests include workplace wellbeing & mental health, student and graduate mental health, and the application of psychological research methods to improve healthcare communication.
